10 Jul Allie Flynn Named in Irish Women’s Touch Rugby Squad
The international accolades keep coming for the phenomenal women’s section at Balreask Old! Everyone at Navan RFC is incredibly proud to announce that senior player Allie Flynn has been officially selected for the Irish Women’s Touch Rugby team.
Allie will head to the continent later this month to represent her country at the prestigious European Touch Rugby Championship, taking place in France from Monday, 20th July to Sunday, 26th July 2026.
Having previously worn the green jersey with distinction, Allie’s inclusion in the senior squad reinforces her status as an elite, versatile athlete. Touch rugby at the European Championship level demands exceptional speed, pinpoint handling, and elite tactical fitness. Allie’s selection is a testament to her immense work ethic and skill set, which she continues to showcase week in, week out in the “Navy & Sky Blue” of Navan.
Her achievement sets a fantastic example for our younger youth players such as Abigail and Maggie Kerin, who are also preparing for their own junior European Touch campaigns this August proving that the developmental pathway at Navan RFC consistently leads to the international stage.
