18 Mar Navan Players Represent Leinster U18’s
Well done to Navan RFC players Jimmy Shorten (Under 16 Boys) and Evan Lawless (Under 17 Boys), who were both named on the bench for the Leinster Under-18 Club/Youth Team in their interprovincial clash with Ulster Rugby.
The match took place on Monday evening (16th March) at Rifle Park, home of Banbridge RFC, with Leinster emerging victorious on a 26–19 scoreline.
This is a fantastic achievement for both players and a testament to their hard work and development through the Navan RFC youth pathway.
A special mention as well to Jimmy Shorten, who is pictured above with his mum Susan and dad Rod, who were in attendance to support him on the night, a proud moment for the family and the club.
