Navan RFC Adult Team Fixtures: Weekend of 9th-11th January 2026

Five of Navan RFC’s senior adult teams return to action this weekend as the second half of the season gets underway, with a packed schedule of fixtures and four exciting home games at Balreask Old.

The action begins on Friday evening, when the Men’s Under-20s welcome Coolmine RFC for a friendly fixture under lights. Kick-off is 8.00pm, providing a great opportunity for the squad to test themselves ahead of competitive action.

On Saturday afternoon, Navan RFC hosts a double-header of men’s rugby. The Men’s 1st XV resume their Energia All-Ireland League Division 2B campaign at home to Sligo RFC, with kick-off at 2.30pm. This fixture marks the start of the second half of the AIL season and promises to be a key encounter.

Supporters can make a full day of it by booking a pre-match lunch, which includes a two-course meal, wine and match-day entry for just €30. Places are limited, so supporters are encouraged to book early by contacting Marion on 087-7572658. Thanks to Hannons Centra, Navan for sponsoring the lunch.

Also on Saturday, the Men’s 3rd XV are in home league action, taking on BGF Ravens in Leinster Metro Division 7, with a 2.30pm kick-off at Balreask Old.

On Sunday, attention turns to women’s rugby.
The Women’s 1st XV travel to face Wicklow RFC in Leinster Women’s Division 1, with kick-off at 1.00pm, while the Women’s 2nd XV host Ashbourne RFC at Balreask Old in a Division 3 “Meath Derby”, also kicking off at 1.00pm.

With four home fixtures across the weekend, there is plenty of rugby to enjoy at the club. All support is very welcome as Navan RFC’s adult teams get back into competitive action.
