04 May Navan RFC Hosts Spectacular Girls Schools Blitz!
Balreask Old was buzzing late last week as we played host to a high-energy 1st and 2nd Year Girls Tag Rugby Blitz. With the sun shining and the pitches in prime condition, it was a fantastic showcase of the growing talent in the region.
The numbers tell the story of a thriving game: 6 schools represented by over 100 students, all displaying incredible footwork, teamwork, and most importantly plenty of smiles!
Schools in Action
A massive well done to all the participants who represented their jerseys with pride. Among the schools taking part were:

- St. Joseph’s Mercy Secondary School, Navan
- Coláiste Na Mí
The skill level on display was exceptional, proving that the future of women’s rugby in Navan is in very safe (and very fast) hands!
