14 Aug Navan RFC Players in Leinster Squads for Connacht Clash
It is set to be a massive day for Navan RFC in Dublin today, Saturday, 15th August, as our players take center stage at Energia Park in Donnybrook for Round 2 of both the Senior and U18 Interprovincial Championships!
Adding to the excitement, our Navan RFC Under-12 Girls will be taking to the pitch at half-time during the Senior match for a special demonstration game.
Congratulations to Alex Connor and Shona White, who have both been selected by Head Coach Sana Govender in the Leinster Women’s matchday squad to face Connacht Rugby (KO: 4:30 PM, live on the Spórt TG4 YouTube channel).
In a massive milestone for the club, Alex Connor earns her first start for Leinster at scrum-half! Meanwhile, Shona White continues her fantastic provincial run, named among the front-row replacements to provide power off the bench.

Emma O’Rourke Starts for U-18 Girls
The great news continues for the club as Navan RFC’s Emma O’Rourke has been named to start at second-row by Head Coach Charlie Doel!
The Leinster Under-18 Girls team will face Connacht at Energia Park tomorrow (KO: 2:00 PM) in Round Two of the PwC U18 Girls Interprovincial Series. The match will take place just ahead of the Senior Interpro clash between the two provinces.
