11 May Navan RFC Youth Awards 2025/26
Balreask Old was filled with pride and celebration on Saturday afternoon as the club hosted its annual End of Season Youth Awards. It was a fantastic opportunity to recognize the individual brilliance, dedication, and sportsmanship shown by our young players across a long and successful campaign.
Club President Eddie Lyons was on hand to present the individual awards to this year’s standout performers.
The 2025/26 Award Winners
Under 13 Boys
- Player of the Year: Conor Lyons
- Most Improved Player: Aidan O’Conor
Under 14 Boys
- Player of the Year: Rian O’Dea
- Most Improved Player: Jack Carton
(A special note for our Under 14 Girls squad, who were away on tour during the ceremony. Their individual player awards will be announced and celebrated at a later date!)
Under 15 Boys
- Player of the Year: Ashan Dharmasena
- Most Improved Player: Gerard Burns
Under 16 Boys
- Player of the Year: Evan Lynch
- Player with Most Potential: Andrei Balan
Under 16 Girls
- Player of the Year: Helena Zucchini
- Most Improved Player: Faye Lynch
- Players’ Player of the Year: Robyn Well
- Spirit of the Team: Nicole Sweeney
Under 17 Boys
- Player of the Year: Michael Cahalane & Evan Lawless
- Most Improved Player: Lee Reynolds
A Heartfelt Thank You
While these awards celebrate individual excellence, the success of the season is a collective effort. Navan RFC wishes to extend its deepest gratitude to every player who wore the jersey this year.
