25 Feb Navan RFC’s James Wyse Set for Varsity Match Start
Good luck to James Wyse, who will start for Cambridge University RFC for the second time in the historic Varsity Match against Oxford University RFC this Saturday (28th February).
The famous annual fixture takes place at StoneX Stadium, home of Saracens, and Cambridge will be aiming to secure a fourth consecutive victory in one of rugby’s most traditional and prestigious contests.
James previously started in the 2024 edition, helping Cambridge to victory, and this latest selection marks another significant milestone in a rugby journey that began in Navan RFC Minis.
From Balreask Old, James progressed to Clongowes Wood College, represented Leinster Schools at Under 18 level, featured for Ireland U18, and made his Energia All-Ireland League debut for Navan RFC Men’s 1st XV last season.
