It was a sensational Saturday of representative rugby for Navan RFC, with our club members starring across three separate Leinster victories in Belfast and Creggs! From debut caps to match-winning try doubles, our players continue to make their mark on the provincial stage.

Senior Women: Alex Connor Features in 75-5 Ulster Demolition

In Round 3 of the Vodafone Women’s Interprovincial Championship, Leinster delivered a clinical performance at Affidea Stadium in Belfast, running in 11 tries to secure a dominant 75-5 win over Ulster.

Navan RFC’s Alex Connor entered the action off the bench in the second half, injecting pace and control into the half-back line as Leinster pushed home their second-half advantage.

The win officially books Leinster’s place in the Vodafone Interprovincial Championship Final against Munster next weekend at Dexcom Stadium, Galway!

U18 Girls: Debut Cap for Maggie Kerin as Leinster Edge Ulster

In the curtain-raiser in Belfast, Leinster U18 Girls held off a spirited Ulster side to record a 39-27 victory, making it three wins from three in the group stage.

Huge congratulations to Navan RFC’s Maggie Kerin, who officially earned her first Leinster U18 cap! Maggie came off the bench in the second half and put in a fantastic shift to help hold off Ulster’s late fightback.

Her clubmate Emma O’Rourke, a starter in the opening two rounds, was rested for the trip as she recovers from an injury.

Leinster now march into Finals Day next Saturday, 30th August at Mullingar RFC.

U18 Boys Clubs: Conor Martin Tally Guides Leinster Past Connacht

Over in Creggs, the Leinster U18 Boys Clubs squad made it two wins from two in the PwC Interprovincial Championship with a hard-fought 26-19 away victory over Connacht.

Navan RFC players were at the absolute heart of the victory, Conor Martin (Scrum-half) Delivered a star performance, pulling the strings at 9 while scoring two crucial tries and kicking three conversions for a personal tally of 16 points! Jimmy Shorten (Second Row) was shifted from the back row into the engine room at lock, bringing immense power, work rate, and athleticism to the tight five.
