14 Aug Navan Trio involved in Leinster U18 Matchday against Ulster
Everyone at Balreask Old extends our absolute best wishes to three of our Under-18 Boys Youth players; Jimmy Shorten, Conor Martin & Evan Lawless, who have been officially named in the Leinster U18 Club/Youth squad for Round One of the 2026 PwC Under 18 Club Interprovincial Series.
Following weeks of intense pre-season preparations, including warm-up matches and an international blitz tour in Newcastle, the lads step onto the national stage this Sunday as provincial pride goes on the line.
Navan RFC is proudly represented across the matchday panel:
- Jimmy Shorten (#8): Starting at Number Eight, Jimmy brings explosive ball-carrying, breakdown dominance, and relentless work rate to the tail of the Leinster scrum.
- Conor Martin (#9): Starting at Scrum-half, Conor will direct the tempo of the game, providing sharp service and game management from the base of the ruck.
- Evan Lawless: Selected as a Traveling Reserve, Evan stands ready to provide high-impact reinforcement across the forward pack.
