Navan U9s Enjoy Special Day at Ireland Open Training

A very special occasion was experienced by some of our Navan RFC Under 9s on Thursday morning as they joined over 4,000 fans at an Ireland Open Training Session in the Aviva Stadium, courtesy of the Irish Rugby Football Union and Intersport Elverys.

The Ireland Men’s team were joined by their Under-20 counterparts, with both squads fresh from victories over England last weekend put through an impressive and energetic session. The morning concluded with intense unit work between the forwards and backs, giving the young Navan players a brilliant insight into elite-level preparation.

After training, the Ireland players generously signed autographs and posed for photos, creating lifelong memories for our Minis.
