09 Mar Navan Women’s 3rd XV Crowned Leinster Div 6 Champions
Navan RFC Women’s 3rd XV have been officially confirmed as Leinster Women’s League Division 6 champions, marking a remarkable milestone for the club.
The squad were presented with the league trophy in the Balreask Old clubhouse, with John Fitzgerald, representing Leinster Rugby, on hand to make the presentation and recognise the team’s achievement.
The title success is particularly significant as this is the first full season the Navan Women’s 3rd XV have competed in league competition. The squad have shown tremendous commitment, teamwork and development throughout the campaign to secure top spot in the division.
Their success highlights the continued growth of the women’s section at Navan RFC and the strength of depth within the club.
Across Navan RFC’s three adult women’s teams, the club completed 38 league fixtures during the campaign, demonstrating the scale and progress of the women’s programme.
Attention now turns to cup competitions, with those tournaments scheduled to begin later this month as the teams look to continue their momentum.
