Rosie Searle Impresses Again for Clovers

Navan RFC’s Rosie Searle made her fourth consecutive start for The Clovers and delivered another impressive performance in the back row as the Irish side strengthened their position in the Celtic Challenge standings with a thrilling 57–31 victory over Glasgow Warriors at Affidea Stadium (Ravenhill), Belfast, in Round 4 of the competition.

The nine-try win capped an outstanding week for the Navan forward, who was also named by Ireland Women’s Head Coach Scott Bemand in a 37-player squad selected for a three-day national training camp at the IRFU High Performance Unit in Abbotstown last week, as preparations begin for the Guinness Women’s Six Nations this spring.

The call-up marks another major milestone in what has been a remarkable breakthrough period for Searle. She has now started all four rounds of the Celtic Challenge to date for the Clovers, producing a series of powerful and consistent performances that underline her rapid rise through the representative ranks.

Her inclusion in the national training squad follows a standout 2025, during which she represented Ireland Women’s Under-20s last summer before making her senior Leinster debut in the Vodafone Women’s Interprovincial Championship in August. A proud product of Navan RFC’s minis and youth pathway, Rosie’s progression is a source of immense pride throughout the club.
