19 Jan Under 14 Boys with Convincing Home Win
Leinster Youth Boys U14 Premier League
Navan 42 Naas 14
Sunday 18th January | Balreask Old
Navan RFC Under 14 Boys produced an excellent response to last week’s setback, turning in a dominant performance to defeat Naas 42–14 at Balreask Old on Sunday.
From the opening exchanges, Navan showed great intent and energy, taking control of the game with strong carries, quick recycling of possession and committed defence. The home side built pressure consistently and were rewarded with a series of well-worked tries, putting daylight between themselves and their opponents as the match progressed.
Naas battled hard throughout and managed to get over the line for two tries, but Navan remained composed and disciplined, continuing to play positive, attacking rugby and finishing the contest strongly.
The result is an important one for the squad and sets them up well ahead of a challenging next fixture away to undefeated Gorey, where the boys will look to carry this momentum forward.
A strong all-round team performance and a credit to the players and coaches for the manner of the response.
