Navan RFC Under 16 Girls produced an impressive performance to secure a 28–17 victory over MU Barnhall in the second round of the Leinster U16 Girls Plate at Balreask Old.
Navan delivered a confident attacking display, scoring four tries while maintaining strong defensive discipline to keep their opponents at bay and progress to the next stage of the competition.
Abigail Kerin led the scoring with an excellent two-try performance, while further tries from Clarissa Vlad and Helena Zucchini helped build Navan’s winning total.
Zucchini also added a conversion, rounding off a strong individual contribution as Navan controlled key moments of the game to secure the victory.
The result sees the squad advance in the Leinster U16 Girls Plate, continuing their encouraging season with another strong team display.
